Job summary

DoorDash's DashMart Kitchens is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to drive daily kitchen execution within a shared DashMart facility. You will lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring quality, safety, cleanliness, and timely order fulfillment.

You will coach the team, manage inventory practices, and collaborate with site leadership to maintain alignment between kitchen and warehouse operations. A strong background in food service and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery leadership.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to uphold food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned kitchen shifts and ensure execution of food prep standards, cleanliness, safety, and inventory practices.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately, on time, and meet quality standards.
• Lead and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates; act as escalation point for operational issues.
• Coach team on food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards; model professionalism and urgency.
• Partner with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations.
• Support facility standards and contribute ideas to improve workflows and site performance.
• Foster a collaborative “One Team” environment within the facility.
