Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is hiring for a kitchen position responsible for meal preparation, serving line setup, and daily cooking tasks. You will assist with menu execution, maintain cleanliness, and help with catering functions as needed.

The role requires following recipes, operating equipment safely, and maintaining proper temperatures. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with experience in food service a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow menu plans and recipes.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods according to menu and recipes; plan ahead for next day.
• Maintain clean work areas, follow FIFO, and stock supplies as needed.
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist with daily dish/cleanup tasks and support serving and catering needs.
