Job summary

Golden Pahrump Nugget, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Worker to join our fast-paced culinary team. You will perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, maintain sanitation, and support a safe, efficient work environment for guests and staff.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to follow instructions, and strong teamwork. Prior cleaning experience is preferred; Food Handlers Card or STA Kitchen Worker certification is a plus. Must be 18+ and able to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred; STA Kitchen Worker certification preferred.
• Knowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfaces
• Conduct high-dusting throughout the kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and company policies to sanitize equipment and workspaces
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shift
• Transport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
