Job summary

Golden Pahrump Nugget, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Worker to support culinary operations with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety. You will perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, maintain sanitation standards, and assist the team in everyday tasks to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning chemicals per OSHA, operating dishwashing and related equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• STA Kitchen Worker certification preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfaces
• Conduct high-dusting throughout the kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and company policies to sanitize equipment and workspaces
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shift
• Transport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferred
• Familiarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicals
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Requirements

• At least 18 Years of Age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

• Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
