Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe is seeking a Kitchen Worker/Utility Cleaner to support all kitchen cleaning tasks under the Sous Chef and F&B Outlet Manager, ensuring safe and sanitary conditions.

You will maintain cleanliness, assist with dish washing, stock supplies, and help set up service areas while upholding KEEP values.

Experience preferred; training provided; 18+; pay is USD 18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have good people skills and a well-groomed appearance.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have working knowledge of point of sales systems.
• Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform appearance.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services for guests.
• Handle breakdown, feed, catch and sorting of china, silverware and glassware in the Dish Room.
• Wash pots and pans and sort/store properly on shelves.
• Clean walls, ceilings, and light fixtures; report repairs as needed.
• Sweep, mop and wax floors; haul trash to Trash Room.
• Polish silver, glass and brass; clean dish machines.
• Set up china, glass and silver for all outlets.
