Job summary

Sodexo in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas. You'll clean equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, transport supplies, and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED (or equivalent), no related work experience required, and knowledge of sanitation and basic food safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans, and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using appropriate sanitizing chemicals.
• Restocks supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Able to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
