Job summary

Magic City Casino is seeking a Kitchen Worker to help maintain clean and organized food and beverage areas. The role involves deep cleaning equipment, preparing workspaces, organizing storage, and supporting safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with receiving orders, managing trash disposal, and performing other duties as needed to support the kitchen and casino operations. A Gaming License or ability to obtain one is required, as is willingness to work nights,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and complete within 6 months
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Must work with chemicals
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have Gaming License or ability to obtain
• Must work in a smoke environment

Responsibilities

• Deep cleans all kitchen ovens, sinks, freezers, coolers, griddles and other equipment
• Prepares all food and beverage areas
• Cleans walls, floors and ceilings
• Cleans and organizes storage areas including main freezer, cooler and dry storage
• Maintains highest cleanliness standards in all food and beverage areas
• Follows safety guidelines and organizational policies
• Knowledgeable of MSDS procedures
• May assist with receiving orders
• Ensures trash cans are changed regularly
• All other duties as needed
