Job summary

Masonic Village at Burlington is seeking a Utility Worker to support dining services by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen and dining areas. This role assists with dishwashing, food service logistics, and resident hospitality while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning kettles, fryers, carts, floors, and walls; disposing of trash; delivering nourishment; and assisting in dining rooms. Must follow directions and obtain Serv Safe within one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of eighth grade or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Serv Safe certification within one year of hire; current certifications required while employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, family members, guests, and staff.
• Clean floors and walls in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Clean kettles, steamers, and carts daily.
• Clean dish machine after each use and air dry parts.
• Clean service ware including pots and pans.
• Store tableware properly.
• Dispose of trash after each meal.
• Deliver food carts and nourishments to dining areas.
• Assist in dining room and bistro areas.
• Collect soiled dishes and stack in bus pans.
