Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando seeks an Engineering Specialist – Kitchen & Refrigeration Mechanic II to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment across the property. The role requires deep mechanical and electrical repair skills, EPA certification, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform timely repairs on kitchen and refrigeration systems.
• Replace compressors, thermostats, fans, motors, belts and wiring as needed.
• Service evaporators, condensers, receivers, valves; clean coils and replace filters.
• Document service records and coordinate with Engineering leadership.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE; respond to guest equipment issues.
