LV Petroleum LLC is seeking restaurant team members to join our team inside our travel center. Cooks will contribute to food preparation, cooking, and kitchen efficiency, while cashiers ensure a pleasant guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include ingredients prep, following recipes, kitchen setup, operating grills/ovens, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting inventory management. Flexible schedule and teamwork are essential in this dynamic role.

Qualifikationen

• Previous kitchen/food prep experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols.

Aufgaben

• Food Preparation: prepare ingredients for cooking, marinate meats, chop vegetables, measure ingredients.
• Follow recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
• Assist with setup and organization of the kitchen and ensure tools are ready.
• Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to diner menu specifications.
• Monitor food to ensure correct temperature and quality standards.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens and stovetops following safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and sanitize surfaces and dishes.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines and proper waste management.
• Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and manage inventory FIFO rotation.
• Work with front-of-house staff to ensure timely orders and delivery.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff when required.
• Adhere to established cooking procedures, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Handle allergens and dietary restrictions appropriately.
