Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Kitchen Production Technician focused on gummies and edibles. You will work across kitchen stations, ensure production quotas, and maintain high sanitation in a fast-paced food production environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in food production, preferably gummies, hold a Serv Safe Food Handler's Card, and can lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time PM shift offers training and growth in a compliant cannabis manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in food production, especially gummies/candy.
• 1-2 years of experience making cannabis edibles (preferred).
• Basic math skills for scaling recipes and measuring ingredients.
• Serv Safe Food Handler's Card required.
• AZDHS Facility Agent Card preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–10 hours.
• Reliable transportation and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties across kitchen stations and meet production quotas.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, scales, packaging machines).
• Heavy focus on gummy and candy production.
• Maintain high sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Accurately document production data and follow SOPs and recipes.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Position Summary
