Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Kitchen Production Technician focused on gummies and edibles. You will rotate across kitchen stations to support production and prep in a fast-paced food-production setting.

The role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to meet production quotas, with a full-time PM shift and standard benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in gummy/candy production environment.
• 1–2 years of experience making cannabis edibles preferred.
• Basic math skills for scaling recipes and measuring ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties across kitchen stations and meet production quotas.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, scales, packaging machines).
• Heavy focus on gummy and candy making.
• Maintain high sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Accurately document production data and follow SOPs/recipes.

Position Summary

The Kitchen Production Technicianwill work across multiple kitchen stations, supporting production, and prep tasks as needed, with a main focus in gummies and edibles making. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties across kitchen stations and consistently meet production quotas
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, scales, packaging machines)
• Heavy focus on gummy and candy making
• Maintain high sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards
• Accurately document production data and follow all SOPs and recipes
• Support additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in food production, specifically gummy/candy-making environment
• 1-2 years of experience making cannabis edibles (preferred)
• Basic math skills for scaling recipes and measuring ingredients
• SERV Safe Food Handler's Card (required)
• AZDHS Facility Agent Card (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/sit for 8-10 hours
• Reliable transportation
• Strong time management and communication skills

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced kitchen/production environment with variable temperatures
• Exposure to common allergens (peanuts, dairy, etc.)
• Strict dress code: no loose clothing, artificial nails, or jewelry
• Company-provided T-shirts, aprons, and smocks
• Employees must wear black pants and black non-slip work shoes
