Chartwells Higher Education seeks a Kitchen Production Manager to lead culinary operations at our Needham site. The role oversees menu development, inventory, purchasing, and local sourcing while maintaining strong safety and sustainability practices.

Ideal candidate brings 3+ years in culinary management within contract foodservice or fine dining, with HACCP knowledge and ServSafe being a plus. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity in a growing program.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP.
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Experience with exposition cooking.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving.
