Job summary

Grazianos Group is seeking a Kitchen Prep to perform a variety of food preparation duties, including cold foods, shellfish prep, slicing meats, and desserts. This role requires strong sanitation, accurate handling of ingredients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen in Florida.

You will assist cooks, maintain cleanliness, store and portion foods, and support food service operations to ensure timely dishes for patrons.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
• Store and package food to prevent spoilage and for take-out.
• Butcher and prep fowl, fish, poultry, and shellfish as needed.
• Prepare a variety of foods according to orders or instructions.
• Take temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Record quantities of food used and stock supplies.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for cooking or serving.
• Move food trays to warmers or refrigerated storage as needed.
• Provide food to servers when ready for plating.
• Weigh or measure ingredients and mix dressings and sauces.
• Load dishes into dishwashers and receive goods into storage.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff and order needed items.
