The role includes 8 hour shifts, 5 days weekly, weekend work, and rotation between day and evening shifts (7 am to 3 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm). Experience preferred; sanitation focus essential.

Aufgaben

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
• Store food properly and prepare take-out portions.
• Butcher and clean fowl, fish, poultry, and shellfish for cooking or serving.
• Prepare a variety of foods per orders or instructions, following procedures.
• Take and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Keep records of quantities of food used.
• Wash, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
• Provide food to servers when ready for distribution.
• Weigh or measure ingredients and stir/strain soups and sauces.
• Mix salads and dressings as condiments for sandwiches.
• Load dishes and utensils into dishwashers.
• Receive and store food supplies and equipment.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff and provide needed items.
• Carry supplies to and from storage and work areas.
• Cut and trim meat, poultry, and seafood for cooking.
• Inform supervisors when equipment or supplies run low and order items.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
