Job summary

Genghis Grill is hiring a Kitchen Prep teammate to support back-of-house operations, assist with food preparation, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area. You will follow recipes, prep sheets, and safety procedures while working closely with management and fellow teammates.

Responsibilities include stocking, setting up, labeling and storing food items, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Time & Attendance required, punctual and reliable.
• Food safety standards must be followed.
• Clear communication with front and back-of-house teams.
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.
• Physically capable of standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operation setup, stocking, and preparation of all items.
• Support back-of-house team and cross-train as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market area and storage.
• Follow recipes, build charts, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with daily prep sheets and food purchasing pars as directed.
• Adhere to safety policies and health department requirements.
