Job summary

HRI Hospitality is seeking a reliable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will support daily prep tasks, measure and prepare ingredients, and ensure equipment and stations are ready for service.

The role requires knowledge of safety rules, basic cooking techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively with cooks and servers. A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable, with culinary training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and slicing.
• Set up workstations and ingredients for recipe execution.
• Undertake basic cooking duties and sauce preparation.
• Prepare simple dishes like salads and entrees.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen and proper trash disposal.
• Store food and items properly to prevent spoilage.
• Follow nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
