Job summary

Landed in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare chicken salads, pimento cheese, salads, soups, sauces, cookies and desserts, following CSC recipes and portion sizes using a variety of equipment. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety at all times.

You will adhere to brand standards, follow opening/closing prep duties, and use the Daily Prep List to guide duties at each shift, reporting shortages promptly and supporting the team to meet service speed goals.

• Completes opening and closing prep duties and checklists.
• Follows Daily Prep List at the start of each shift.
• Prepares a variety of food products per CSC recipes and standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
• Completes duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refers to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Prepares a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items for guests according to CSC recipes and product standards.
• Understands and complies with CSC portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Prepares all food products per recipe specifications.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including equipment.
• Closes the kitchen properly and assists others in closing.
• Attends all scheduled meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Reports equipment and food quality problems to Management.
• Notes shortages and replenishes as needed.
• Uses Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
