Job summary

Jimbo’s is seeking a Kitchen/Deli team member to help with food preparation and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced setting. You will follow daily production lists and assist Chefs with routine prep while ensuring health standards are met.

The role requires completing a Food Handler’s Certificate within 10 days, a friendly attitude, and the ability to take direction from supervisors and peers. This position is on-site in Carlsbad, CA and offers employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler’s Certificate within 10 days of employment.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to accept direction from various people.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, sanitize, and put away kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintain 3-compartment sink in compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Assist Chefs with food preparation by following the daily production list.
• Check trashcans/recycle bins and empty as needed.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floor each shift and follow cleaning checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with Health Department regulations.
