Job summary

Jimbo in Carlsbad, CA is hiring a full-time deli team member to assist in food preparation, ensure safety, and deliver friendly, attentive customer service in a clean, fast-paced environment.

You will follow health regulations, maintain the 3-compartment sink and kitchen areas, help chefs with daily production, keep walk-ins labeled and dated, and participate in store meetings while benefiting from medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate within 10 days of employment.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to take direction from various people.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment.
• Maintain 3-compartment sink per Health Department regulations.
• Assist Chefs with daily production list.
• Ensure food safety and proper labeling in walk-ins.
• Keep back dock, dish area, and hand sinks clean.
• Provide excellent customer service per standards.
• Attend department and store meetings.
• Operate knives and other kitchen equipment safely.
