Carolina's Mexican Food, Inc. is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen operations. The role covers food preparation, cooking, cleaning, dish-out line, and dishwashing to keep the restaurant running efficiently.

You will work with a team to follow recipes, maintain health and sanitation standards, and handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but training will be provided, and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a kitchen environment preferred, training provided
• Ability to work well in a team under time pressure
• Willingness to adapt to varying tasks in a busy kitchen
• Attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
• Stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn food safety requirements and obtain food handler certification

Aufgaben

• Food Preparation: wash, cut, marinate and prep ingredients for cooking.
• Cooking: assist in cooking and assembling dishes per recipes and kitchen directions.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: keep kitchen area clean and organized; wash dishes; maintain stations.
• Equipment Handling: use and care for kitchen equipment; report malfunctions.
• Support Duties: assist other kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations during peak times
