Job summary

Carolina's Mexican Food, Inc. is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen operations. You will assist in food preparation, cooking, cleaning, dish-out line, and dishwashing to keep the kitchen running efficiently.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and using equipment safely. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, with bilingual ability a plus; health/safety standards and food handler certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food service environments preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow recipes and health/safety guidelines.
• Willingness to obtain applicable food handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation including tortillas and ingredients washing, cutting, marinating.
• Cooking and assembling dishes as directed by recipes.
• Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary kitchen area and stations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, report malfunctions.
• Assist other kitchen tasks to support smooth operations.
