Job summary

Par-Mar-Stores is seeking a restaurant cook to support daily kitchen operations. The role focuses on preparing guest orders, following portion sizes and timing, and ensuring accurate preparation.

You will maintain a clean, sanitary work area and assist teammates as needed. The candidate should have at least one year of cook experience, be well organized, able to read recipes, and ideally hold ServeSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cook experience in a restaurant.
• Organized and accurate in order preparation.
• Able to read and follow standard recipes.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders from the guest check following portions, recipes, and timing.
• Store, date, and rotate ingredients using FIFO.
• Label food and keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Wash and clean utensils and dishes.
• May assist team members and other restaurant tasks.
• Follow hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
