Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality is seeking a stove-side preparer to join our kitchen team. You will help assemble recipes, portion meats and support dessert prep while maintaining sanitary work areas. You must follow prep lists, manage raw and prepared foods safely, and assist the cooks as needed.

The role requires practical math for measurements, strong reading skills, and the ability to work with team members in a fast-paced environment. Training provided for ServSafe and safe food handling.

Qualifications

• Read and understand English.
• “ServSafe” Certified is a plus
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communicative skills
• Auditory and visual skills
• Knowledge of the Company’s food & beverage specifications
• Organizational skills

• Maintain skills to safely operate kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, stoves, dishwasher, slicers, mixers, knives)

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items following standard recipes and procedures within time limits.
• Assist cooks in preparing basic dessert items.
• Preps assigned items according to prep lists and par levels.
• Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies.
• Measure and assemble ingredients; portion meat, fish, and poultry.
