Job summary

Life Alive Cafe, LLC in Boston's South End is seeking a Back Of House Team Member who loves our menu and works well in a fast-paced kitchen with a collaborative team to keep service running smoothly.

You will maintain cleanliness, stock inventory, prep ingredients, and help hit a 6-minute ticket time while upholding Life Alive's values. This full-time role requires standing 8+ hours and lifting heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Helps achieves a ticket time goal of 6 minutes or less.
• Ensures high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables or preparing sauces)
• Prepares recipes according to standard procedures.
• Stocks and prepares stations for service.
• Communicates product needs to back-of-house (BOH) and managers-on-duty (MODs).
• Ensures high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation.
