Riverside Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas. The role includes dishwashing, cleaning, basic food preparation, and assisting with inventory and waste management to support smooth dining experiences for residents.

Qualified candidates will hold a Food Handlers Certification or be willing to obtain one within 30 days. A high school diploma is preferred, and the job may involve lifting up to 50 lbs in a hot, humid environment.

Responsabilités

• Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Regularly clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to maintain a high standard of hygiene, including trash bins, sinks, and counters.
• Food Preparation Assistance: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, and organizing supplies.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring items are stored properly and rotated per FIFO.
• Waste Management: Proper disposal of kitchen waste, including composting and recycling, to maintain an organized workspace.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, use of cleaning chemicals, protective gear, and kitchen safety protocols.
• Team Support: Collaborate with kitchen and dining staff to ensure areas are well-maintained and ready for service.
