Bonefish Grill is seeking an Assistant Culinary Manager to lead the back-of-house team with limited supervision, ensuring kitchen standards and daily quality. You will coach staff and collaborate with Culinary Managers to run efficient operations and maintain high food-safety practices.

The role emphasizes leadership and hands-on support for opening sets, inventory, and ticket flow to ensure timely, high-quality service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified trainer in back-of-house functions.
• Passing grade in assessment testing.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high employment standards per Bloomin' Brands policies.
• Assist kitchen opening set ups.
• Check schedule for incoming team members.
• Coach on security procedures.
• Evaluate the previous night's close.
• Review daily inventory.
• Prepare to receive orders.
• Track shelf-life adherence.
• Check temps on freezer, dish machine and refrigeration units.
• Learn flavor profiles and specifications of menu items.
• Follow recipe cards with no compromise.
• Review daily sanitation checklists and conduct health inspections.
• Adhere to sanitation, temperature and food safety standards.
• Coordinate ticket flow for timely cook times.
