Job summary

PILF Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee operations across its Dallas and Fort Worth locations. You will help manage kitchen teams, enforce safety and sanitation standards, and ensure consistent quality in food preparation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in varied kitchen roles with leadership experience, strong communication, and the stamina to work 45-50 hours weekly; benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, and a quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in varied kitchen positions including food preparation and line roles, with at least 6 months in leadership/management.
• Excellent communication skills with managers, kitchen and dining staff, and guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Must stand for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work 45–50 hours per week.
• Experience with POS, inventory programs, and online ordering.
• Must hold a food service sanitation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains rules, policies and procedures.
• Oversees training of new kitchen staff and fosters a positive work environment.
• Ensures safety, sanitation and proper operation of kitchen equipment.
• Manages scheduling of BOH labor to meet business needs and cost objectives.
• Complies with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Maintains and improves sanitation, cleanliness, and appearance of facilities.
