Nutrition Management Services Company is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Operations & Food Production Supervisor to oversee daily meals for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Café services. You will ensure high-quality production, enforce safety standards, and manage inventory and staff within budget.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a food service supervisor
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Culinary Arts or Restaurant Management degree preferred
• Must be able to withstand exposure to extreme changes in temperature due to heat, walk-in refrigerators and freezers

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production to ensure high quality meals
• Maintain culinary quality control, consistency, and portioning across dining programs
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance per health regulations and ServSafe guidelines
• Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory to control costs and minimize waste
• Monitor spending and adjust inventory to avoid shortages
• Develop and maintain kitchen staff schedules within budgeted hours
• Provide training, leadership, and mentorship to kitchen staff
• Coordinate with General Manager for special events and catering, including holiday meals and private functions
• Develop event-specific menus aligned with dietary needs and resident preferences
