Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful experience in kitchen operation (merchandising, ordering, inventory, pricing).
• Complete training in the kitchen operation.
• 3-5 years of professional cooking experience in the food industry.
• Must be ServSafe certified.
• Computer skills including e-mail, basic word processing (MS Word).
• Must read, write, speak and understand English and follow instructions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to work a schedule based on store needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist department manager with planning, organizing, and optimizing materials and human resources in the kitchen.
• Open door atmosphere to maintain high associate morale and customer service.
• Train and develop associates and ensure onboarding within 30 days.
• Order, receive, store, and display kitchen products; manage inventory and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, dress code, and sanitation regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain department merchandising standards.
• Control department expenses and payroll within budget.
