Job summary

SSA Group is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee BOH operations across locations, leading prep, staffing, safety, food quality, and guest service standards to ensure consistent performance.

Required are three years of supervisory experience and strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage schedules, training, and performance reviews. Expected to work varied hours to cover busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage BOH operations and safety practices.
• Standing for extended periods; ability to lift 10–35 lbs.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversees BOH prep, staffing, safety, and quality to meet service standards.
• Maintains safety logs, temperatures, rotation, and waste control.
• Ensures proper uniform, hygiene and glove use by staff.
• Coaches and issues performance reviews as needed; tracks attendance and payroll notes.
• Maintains daily cleaning tasks and menu planning; supports smooth service.
