Qualifications

• 2-4 years restaurant kitchen experience.
• Proven work experience as Kitchen Manager or Restaurant Manager.
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication with staff and guests.
• Responsible and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Direct the food preparation process and related activities.
• Ensure all dishes and catering meet standards and expectations.
• Oversee purchasing for all food menu items.
• Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist.
• Ensure all storage areas are tidy and products stored properly.
• Price menu items in collaboration with Restaurant Manager.
• Assist GM with recruiting and hiring of kitchen crew and utility staff.
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to shortages.
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff.
• Oversee the work of subordinates.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between teammates.
• Other duties may be assigned by the department head
