Job summary

DoorDash’s DashMart Kitchens team in Norfolk is seeking a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals to standard, keep the kitchen and warehouse organized, and support order fulfillment in a shared facility environment.

You’ll work closely with DashMart partners, ensure safety and quality, and participate in a fast-paced fulfillment setting with opportunities for pay increases and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented with focus on fresh food quality and safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to brand and food safety standards.
• Ensure meals meet quality, accuracy, and presentation standards.
• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and dress code guidelines.
• Maintain organized storage areas for dry, refrigerated, and frozen items.
• Collaborate with DashMart Operations Associates to maintain a cohesive site.
• Assist with light operational tasks to support facility success.
• Uphold a One Team mindset for positive experiences for all.
