Job summary

DoorDash's DashMart Kitchens is seeking a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals to standard, keep the kitchen and warehouse organized, and support order fulfillment within a shared facility. You will work across meal prep, storage, and facility tasks to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

Shift options include morning, day, evening, weekend, and part‑time; with opportunities for pay increases and a comprehensive benefits package for regular employees.

Qualifications

• You’re reliable, positive, and team‑oriented.
• You have experience in food service (fast food and quick‑service restaurants), grocery, or beverage operations, or a willingness to learn.
• You’re detail‑oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated areas (with or without accommodation).
• You have a high school diploma or GED.
• You’re willing to complete a Food Handler’s Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to brand and food safety standards
• Ensure every meal meets quality, accuracy, and presentation standards before handoff
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and dress code compliance guidelines
• Maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas
• Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards across shared workspaces
• Support inventory organization and proper product rotation (FIFO)
• Collaborate with DashMart Operations Associates to maintain a cohesive and efficient site
• Assist with light operational tasks as needed to support overall facility success
• Uphold a “One Team” mindset to create a positive experience for all team members and customers
