Job summary

DoorDash’s DashMart Kitchens is seeking a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals to standard, maintain kitchen and warehouse organization, and support order fulfillment within a shared facility environment.

The role involves following food safety guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation, and working with DashMart Operations Associates to ensure a cohesive site. The position requires reliability, team orientation, and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• You’re reliable, positive, and team‑oriented.
• Experience in food service (fast food and quick‑service), grocery, or beverage operations, or willingness to learn.
• Detail‑oriented with a passion for fresh food quality and safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated areas (with or without accommodations).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to complete a Food Handler’s Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to brand and food safety standards.
• Ensure every meal meets quality, accuracy, and presentation standards before handoff.
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and dress code compliance guidelines.
• Maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas.
• Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards across shared workspaces.
• Support inventory organization and proper product rotation (FIFO).
• Collaborate with DashMart Operations Associates to maintain a cohesive and efficient site.
• Assist with light operational tasks as needed to support overall facility success.
• Uphold a “One Team” mindset to create a positive experience for all team members and customers.
