California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a talented kitchen leader to deliver a phenomenal guest experience while overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations. You will ensure smooth coordination between food preparation, cooking and plating, and maintain workflow during peak periods.

You will lead and inspire a team with a people-first mentality, building a culture around hospitality and culinary execution. The role emphasizes talent development, sales growth, and strong P&L management to drive business

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years BOH management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
• Exceptional leadership - motivate, inspire and develop a team.
• Passionate about execution, hospitality and service.
• Proficient with basic computer terminals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a phenomenal guest experience and oversee daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain optimal workflow during peak periods and adapt as needed.
• Lead and inspire the team with a people-first mentality to strengthen culture.
• Build a team around hospitality and culinary execution and develop top talent.
• Drive sales and profitability, manage guest counts and labor to budget.
• Manage P&L, forecast labor and budgets, and analyze variances.
