Job summary

AMC Entertainment is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations, uphold recipe standards, and deliver high-quality guest experiences. You’ll supervise a team, manage line checks, and ensure safe, efficient food preparation in a fast-paced cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old; other location-specific age requirements may apply.
• Six months of food handling experience.
• Six months supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain any required food or alcohol service licenses or certifications, provided by AMC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back-of-house staff to ensure high food quality.
• Ensure adherence to AMC recipes and presentation standards.
• Conduct twice-daily line checks for food-safe temperatures and quality.
• Generate and oversee daily prep lists to meet volume.
• Place orders using inventory tools and maintain par levels.
• Maintain food costs within budget and uphold sanitation protocols.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs with vendors.
