Job summary

AMC Entertainment is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen at a cinema location. You will prepare a range of menu items, follow standardized recipes, and help open/close the kitchen while keeping it clean and safe. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver hot, fresh meals and a memorable guest experience.

Must be at least 16, with flexible availability including evenings/weekends/holidays. Training will be provided and opportunities to grow within a fun, movie-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in food service is appreciated but not required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
• Be a reliable teammate by showing up on time.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
• Fast-paced, busy kitchen experience desired.
• Love for movies and creating a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook a variety of items using grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistent taste and quality.
• Open or close the kitchen by prepping equipment and setting up for the next shift.
• Keep the kitchen clean and safe and adhere to chemical/cleaning instructions.
• Occasionally deliver food to seats or tables in the lobby.
• Work quickly and with teammates to assemble orders and maintain smooth operations.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment and uphold AMC standards and policies.
