Job summary

Carrabba's Italian Grill in Murfreesboro, TN, seeks a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to run daily back-of-house operations and uphold Carrabba’s quality standards. This role leads kitchen staff, ensures recipe accuracy, and delivers exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, casual dining setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience (Culinary or Kitchen management preferred).
• Experience in Full-Service Casual Dining or Casual Plus environment preferred.
• Scratch kitchen experience a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Minimum 21 years of age with legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to relocate a plus.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct prep staff and monitor food quality and consistency.
• Assist in hiring and training back-of-house staff.
• Implement security protocols for staff and guests.
• Prepare kitchen areas and equipment daily to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies; pass health inspections.
• Maintain standards for line checks, timing, and recipe adherence.
• Verify menu items are prepared per Carrabba’s specifications.
• Manage staffing levels and shift assignments.
• Keep kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Check inventory and place orders for food and supplies.
• Set a high standard of customer service and professional conduct.
