Texas Roadhouse in Houston, TX is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food to specification and on schedule. Qualifications

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of guests
• Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees by providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks and inventory for safety and quality
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House, setting hours, schedules, and task assignments
• Training Back of House on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hires

Responsibilities

• Oversee Back of House operations and purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food according to recipes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and employment policies across the kitchen
• Monitor ticket times and drive productivity to maintain service levels
• Develop and coach BOH staff, conducting performance reviews and addressing issues
• Create a safe, fun, clean work environment aligned with core values
