The role offers a pay range of $55,000–$60,000 with $10,000+ incentive potential and opportunities to learn business, leadership, and hospitality in a family-friendly environment.

As KM, you will select, develop, and guide a team that delivers timely, safe, quality food while contributing to the operation's financial and cultural health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Previous kitchen management experience in a casual dining restaurant preferred.
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role.
• Able to make decisions, identify issues, and resolve problems.
• Able to guide, direct, and motivate staff.
• Able to plan and prioritize tasks.
• Able to teach and train staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices/regulations.
• Able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation.
• Recruit, select, train, and develop kitchen team (supervisors, trainers, team members).
• Foster team cohesiveness and positive team working environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient guest service with the hospitality team.
• Oversee opening and closing activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation, along with health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.
• Coordinate with Hospitality Manager and General Manager for seamless guest service.
• Manage food cost and variance; monitor inventory and record keeping.
• Schedule staff hours and manage labor costs.
• Receive food and beverage deliveries; verify quality and quantity.
• Perform some food preparation or service tasks when necessary.
• Learn and train about restaurant management and continuous improvement.
• Direct facility maintenance or repair activities.
