Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants in Livonia, MI, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume scratch kitchen and partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager to deliver exceptional hospitality and a memorable guest experience.

You will coach team members, drive food quality, and contribute to private events and monthly Wine Club dinners. 1–2 years of supervisory kitchen experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Scratch kitchen experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–2 kitchen departments (dish, prep, line)
• Maintain professional image and uphold culinary and safety standards
• Use POS, scheduling, inventory systems, and MS Office to stay organized
• Help execute new menu roll-outs, kitchen initiatives, and private events (Wine Club dinners)
• Hire, train, and develop hourly kitchen staff and ensure food safety compliance
• Collaborate with front-of-house to achieve restaurant goals
