Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume scratch kitchen with a focus on food quality, safety, and staff development. You will partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager to drive guest satisfaction and culinary excellence across all stations.

You will manage schedules, inventories, and training, while maintaining strong communication with front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum age 21 years and ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Demonstrates financial acumen and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct kitchen operations, overseeing Kitchen Managers and Team Members across dish, prep, and line stations.
• Review schedules and manage operating systems; conduct line checks and prep lists.
• Oversee supply ordering, inventory, and food safety standards.
• Lead kitchen training, new menu rollouts, and system initiatives.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in hourly Team Member hiring and development.
