Job summary

PILF Restaurant Group is seeking a Kitchen Manager for Zoli’s NY Pizza Addison. Lead the BOH team, own daily kitchen operations, and ensure hot, consistent, high-quality pizza production while developing staff and maintaining food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have proven kitchen leadership, knowledge of food and labor costs, and the ability to coach staff with fairness. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Kitchen leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of food cost and labor cost.
• Ability to coach staff without crushing their spirit.
• Standards-driven even during peak times.
• Organized inventory and prep management.
• Available nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop the BOH crew.
• Build a kitchen culture people want to work in.
• Keep food quality and consistency high.
• Own food cost, inventory, ordering, rotation, and waste.
• Manage labor and scheduling based on business needs.
• Conduct line checks, prep checks, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen.
• Hire and onboard new BOH team members.
• Identify and develop future kitchen leaders.
• Coach performance, recognize great work, and hold the team accountable.
• Work alongside the General Manager to drive restaurant performance.
• Jump in wherever needed because nobody at Zoli’s is too important to get their hands dirty.
