Camp Harvest is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the year‑round kitchen operation and staff, with additional Stillwater Retreat hospitality duties during the retreat season. This hands‑on leadership role combines cooking, planning, and people management to deliver hospitality and high standards.

The role includes menu planning, inventory control, and ensuring food safety and quality for large groups. You will collaborate across departments to provide a welcoming, sacred camp experience.

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain before employment.
• Experience leading a kitchen or food-service team.
• Experience with large-group food preparation and service.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Camp Harvest kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Plan menus, prep schedules, and coordinate meals with program and retreat schedules.
• Ensure safe food handling, proper temperatures, and adherence to safety policies.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and budget, while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with Stillwater Retreat hospitality team as needed during the retreat season.
• Communicate clearly with staff, leaders, vendors, and guests; respond to changing circumstances.
