Job summary

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume back-of-house at a bustling casual dining destination in Columbus, GA. You’ll build your crew, optimize operations, and drive performance with bonus upside.

You’ll mentor 15–20 line cooks and prep staff, ensure food quality and safety, control costs, and guide the team through lunch and dinner rushes toward regional advancement.

Qualifications

• Three or more years managing high-volume kitchen operations.
• Hands-on line cook background with current food handler certification.
• Proven success in building and developing kitchen teams.
• Strong inventory, waste management and cost control discipline.
• Ability to lead through lunch and dinner rushes with energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and schedule 15-20 line cooks and prep staff daily.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency standards.
• Order inventory, manage usage, and aggressively control costs.
• Ensure restaurant passes health and safety inspections.
• Drive kitchen speed and accuracy to meet cover counts and ticket times.
