Perkins American Food Co. in Sedalia, MO seeks a Kitchen Manager responsible for back-of-house operations, achieving sales and profit goals, and enforcing company policies to ensure guest satisfaction and a safe, efficient work environment.

You will lead kitchen staff, coordinate recruitment and training, maintain food safety standards (ServSafe), monitor temperatures, and manage inventory, payroll, and expenses while upholding high quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• One to two years supervisory experience, preferably in food production.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with employees, vendors and guests.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and analysis of unit manpower, ensuring development and training of all employees.
• Assist in recruitment, interviewing, selecting, and new hire orientation.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Perform and assist in all restaurant functions as needed.
• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly to standard.
