Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is hiring a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food to standard. The role emphasizes leadership, cost containment, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely service.

You’ll supervise production, staff performance, and training, while driving inventory checks, line temps, and waste control. The position includes a robust benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Back of House teams in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong understanding of recipes, portions, and cost controls.
• Ability to supervise safety, sanitation, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and prep of food per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Monitor ticket times and direct Back of House productivity.
• Evaluate, coach, and discipline Back of House staff.
• Develop key employees through daily feedback and coaching.
• Conduct line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and maintenance of items.
• Manage food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs.
• Schedule Back of House work hours and tasks around open hours.
• Train staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Review applications and hire Back of House employees.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values.
