Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee back-of-house operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing and presenting all food per recipes and procedures. Qualifications

• Experience managing back-of-house operations
• Experience with inventory and safety procedures
• Ability to supervise and train staff
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures
• Enforce employment policies and ensure cleanliness and guest safety
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient food ticket times
• Manage Back of House staff performance, including evaluations and coaching
• Provide daily feedback and develop key employees during one-on-ones
• Conduct line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Oversee proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
• Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
• Manage food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Direct work for Back of House, set hours and weekly schedules
• Train Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hires
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values
