Texas Roadhouse is looking for a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes and procedures. Responsibilities of a Kitchen Manager include:

  1. Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in accordance with recipes and procedures.
  2. Enforcing compliance with employment policies and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
  3. Monitoring and maintaining efficient food ticket times.
  4. Managing performance of Back of House staff, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  5. Developing key employees through feedback and training.
  6. Conducting inventory, safety, and quality checks, including Taste & Temp tests.
  7. Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  8. Practicing safe food handling procedures.
  9. Managing food costs, waste, and labor costs.
  10. Scheduling and task assignment for Back of House staff.
  11. Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  12. Participating in hiring processes for Back of House employees.
  13. Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with company values.
